Bio: Hi, this is my final project for ENG 111 at TCC. I am almost done with my degree in Industrial Safety. Once I get my associates degree, I plan on attending ODU to pursue my Bachelors in Environmental Health. I am currently employed at a local manufacturing company as their Safety Officer / EMT. I wish to broaden my education and work experience in the near future. At TCC I am able to gain the knowledge needed to achieve this goal. I work full time during the day and attend classes at night. Being able to take classes on line has helped out tremendously. I have a few classes left until I get my associates. My pursuit in the safety industry resulted from me being a volunteer EMT for the Virginia Beach EMS system. In the safety field, almost all companies require a degree in hand, which is understandable, it is not just telling someone to be careful of what they are doing.
